Larry Papike

Larry Papike is the President and Founder of Cross-Search, the first third-party, independent broker dealer advisor and executive placement firm, formed in 1989. Larry and his firm place financial advisors with independent broker dealers, helping sift through the labyrinth of options and questions involved with changing firms and leveraging due diligence on more than 100 independent broker dealers. Larry guides financial advisors in transition through the entire process of identifying their most appropriate options, negotiating a deal and transitioning clients. Cross Search has placed thousands of advisors, producing more than 375 mill. in gross dealer concessions.

Larry is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is regularly quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Investment News, Registered Rep, Financial Planning, Research, Investment Advisor and other industry publications. Larry has deep expertise of all the major independent broker-dealers across the entire spectrum of size, culture, clearing platforms, product mix, technology, services provided, etc.

Prior to founding Cross-Search, Larry was the Executive Vice President and Founder of Sentra Securities, where he worked in every department as the broker-dealer grew from one to 410 representatives in only eight years. This experience equipped Larry with an in depth understanding of the inner workings of a broker-dealer and serves as his foundation for assisting financial advisors in choosing the right broker-dealer for them.

Jodie Papike

Jodie Papike is the Executive Vice President of Cross-Search, the first third-party, independent broker dealer advisor and executive placement firm. Since joining Cross-Search in 1997, Jodie has been consulting with financial advisors transitioning to new independent broker dealers, guiding them through the entire process of identifying their most appropriate options, negotiating a deal and transitioning clients.

Jodie has an intricate knowledge of the securities industry and a deep understanding of each of the major independent broker dealer firms, enabling her to help advisors find and transition to a broker-dealer that best suits their needs.  Cross Search has placed thousands of advisors, producing more than 375 mill. in gross dealer concessions.  Jodie takes the utmost pride in finding a firm for an advisor that will not only better their career, but will also be a good home for them for years to come.

Jodie is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, is regularly quoted and published in publications such as Investment News, Registered Rep, Financial Planning, Life Insurance Selling and Think Advisor.

Jodie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State, graduating  with honors.

Justin Sladavic

Justin Sladavic formed and has led the Executive Search division of Cross-Search, the first third-party, independent broker dealer advisor and executive placement firm since 2000. In this role, Justin helps match top executives across the financial industry with leading-edge firms, helping executives to further their careers and firms to fill top positions with the right fits.

Justin is immersed in the securities industry, specifically the independent broker dealer community, and has developed both an expertise of the marketplace as well as a deep network of industry relationships. He has filled hundreds of executive-level positions across the country.

Justin joined Cross-Search with an extensive marketing, recruiting, and management background working for large retail organizations.

Jesse Papike

Jesse Papike is the Vice President of Cross Search, the first third-party, independent broker dealer advisor and executive placement firm. With Cross-Search since 2004, Jesse is highly active in both the firm’s executive and advisor placement divisions while working directly with advisors and top executives.

Jesse has gained a firm understanding of the securities industry and the independent broker dealer marketplace, and has developed an extensive network of contacts throughout the industry. He has been highly engaged and has a deep knowledge of the advisor transition process.

Jesse has earned his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. He joined the firm with a marketing and sales background.
